Rapper, Sean Combs a.k.a Diddy has shocked fans after announcing that he is quitting music.
His upcoming album No Way Out 2 will be his final hurrah.
But the Bad Boy boss insists he is not dumping showbiz as he is stopping music so he can focus on a full time movie career.
In a recent interview with Cicar Aficionado magazine, Diddy said:
“I’m going to put out my last album and devote 100 percent of my time doing films.”
“I want to stop at a great place and a final album is a great place to stop.
“I want to take a victory lap, to do a world tour and really enjoy it one last time.”
Comparing his music to that of some legendary figures in the business, the 46-year-old rapper said:
“Michael Jackson, Tupac, Biggie – part of them lives on in their music, even though they’re not here anymore. That’s really deep, man. The only thing like that is religion.
“I know I’m making music that will live on.”
The entertainment mogul has won three Grammys, released six albums and has his own brand of vodka.
