British professional boxer, Tyson Fury, has returned to negotiation table for the all-British heavyweight super-fight with Anthony Joshua.
Fury, 34, who is the WBC heavyweight champion had given fellow Briton, Joshua, 32, an ultimatum to sign on for the fight. He announced that the deal was off on Monday evening.
However, in a new video posted on his Instagram page on Thursday, Fury announced that he has extended the deadline to Thursday.
“My promoter Frank Warren convinced me to carry on negotiating with your team this week, despite me knowing that you were never going to do this fight.
“If you have any dignity and pride about you, you’ll get this contract signed today.
“I’m chucking you a massive bone but I know I can punch your face in so I’m willing to give you an opportunity. Let the British fans have what they want,” Fury said.
Joshua’s team has already verbally accepted Fury’s offer of a 60-40 purse split for a fight on December 3, and also met with television executives from BT Sport and streaming service, DAZN, on Monday.
