There was palpable apprehension in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, on Wednesday when operatives of Osun State Security Network, codenamed Amotekun, engaged in a fight with men of the Nigeria Immigration Service.
The clash, which occured in front of the state headquarters of Amotekun in Okefia, Osogbo, forced shop owners to run for their lives as both sides shot sporadically into the air.
The cause of the clash was unknown, but it was gathered that the leadership of the two agencies held a meeting to resolve the issues.
