No fewer than 100,000 persons have declared their interest to serve as agents for free to honour the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, in Kano State.
The Director, Tinubu/Shettima campaign support group for North West, Baffa Dan’Agundi, disclosed this to Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje at the Government House, on Tuesday.
In a statement he personally signed on Wednesday, Dan’Agundi said the gesture will also be extended to the state governorship candidate, Nasiru Gawuna and his deputy, Murtala Sule-Garo.
“I told them they don’t need to show their declaration in my office, rather they should endeavour to come down to Government House and declare their interest in front of you, Your Excellency.
“They all came here willingly without financial support from the governor or any stakeholder in the party,” he said.
He explained that most of the supporters trekked from their respective locations like Kurnar Asabe, Hotoro and many more to witness the gathering.
Dan’Agundi also reminded the governor that when he brought President Buhari to Kano, he was voted without a single penny and assured the same will be extended to Tinubu.
He further relayed women’s message to the governor saying they will vote for the sake of the First Lady, Prof. Hafsat Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, for her unending commitment to supporting women in Kano State.
