White House Press Secretary, Sarah Sanders as on Friday kicked out of a restaurant in Lexington, Virginia, along with her family.
Jaike Foley-Schultz, a waiter at the Red Hen restaurant, shared a post on Facebook saying his boss, Stephanie Wilkinson, gave the order to send Sanders and her family away.
Sanders confirmed that she was asked to leave in a tweet this morning.
“Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for [President Trump] and I politely left,” she tweeted.
“We just felt there are moments in time when people need to live their convictions,” Wilkinson was quoted as saying later.
Many, commenting on Facebook, argued the restaurant owner was wrong for denying a person service based on their employment or political affiliations.
Some others however praised tbe restaurant boss for being brave and sticking to her moral convictions.
Trump and his cabinet are currently under fire over the administration’s tough stance on immigration and massive deportation of illegal immigrants.
