The Nigerian Air Force helicopter which crashed in Lagos Friday morning suffered hydraulic failure while taxiing to the hanger.
Air Force spokesperson, Dele Alonge, said the helicopter was a on a training mission in Lagos at about 10 a. m. on Friday when it crashed.
He added that the helicopter, which suffered severe damage, was returning to the Apron after the completion of the training exercise.
According to him, there was no casualty saying but the main Rotor debris caused damage to some ground equipment on location. He added that the Chief of Air Staff, Adesola Amosun, had ordered an immediate investigation into the crash.
