A woman in China who was thrown out of the car’s window during a high-speed crash, survived miraculously.
The woman was sent flying through the air after her husband, suspected to be drink-driving, accidentally crashed the car during an argument with her, local media reported.
She was taken to the hospital by paramedics and was found to have non-life-threatening injuries, reports said.
According to China’s Kan Kan News, citing the Guizhou Public Channel, the incident occurred on Friday in the city of Kaili in Guizhou province.
The CCTV footage shows that the car rammed into the side of the road, flipped in the air before the momentum of the crash tossed the woman out of the passenger seat.
Dashcam footage released by the TV station shows a man yelling in the car ‘what are you’ and ‘how much money does your father give me’ seconds before the crash.
It is believed that he was arguing with his wife at the time of the incident.
Li Zhenglin, a traffic policeman from the Kaili Public Security Bureau, told the press that officers found two victims, a man and a woman, after they arrived at the scene of the accident.
According to the police, the car was seriously damaged when they arrived at the scene and the windscreen had been broken completely.
The female victim was taken to the hospital and the male victim who was bleeding on the head was given first aid, said the policeman.
The male victim, identified as Pan by police, had been driving the car. A breath test showed that he had been drunk.
Police suspected that the female victim had not been wearing the safety belt.
