A coalition of pro-democracy groups, Coalition for a Better Nigeria, has said it will support the incoming administration of President Bola Tinubu to change the orientation of Nigerian youths.
The National Coordinator of the group, Com Awa Bamiji, stated this in a statement made available to newsmen, on Sunday.
He said with the conclusion of the activities marking the 30th anniversary of the June 12, 1993 presidential election, the group will now focus its attention on youth empowerment and youth development.
“As from next Monday, May 29, 2023, our mission will be to change the orientation of our youth, youth empowerment, youth development and forming a think tank for the incoming government to ensure critical inputs into its conduct and policies.
“We shall provide adequate publicity for the next administration’s giant strides through the ‘Tinubu Score Card: ‘Moving this nation to a Nigeria of our dream.’
“We promise you that there would be a clear difference in the above mentioned areas because we have proven ourselves to be veterans for decades,” Awa said.
He urged Nigerians to rally round the incoming administration to move Nigeria to a greater height.
