Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has started to think about trying his hand at management when his playing days are over.
Iniesta who spoke at a Q&A session arranged by Estrella Damm, said: “I didn’t think about it before”.
He added: “But now, with less and less time left as a player, it’s a situation that I like [the idea of] more all the time.
“I like to observe, to think, to prepare… We will see what the future holds. For now I like playing.”
The 31-year-old has spent his entire career at Barça and a step into management would see him take the same steps as Pep Guardiola and Luis Enrique.
His midfield teammate, Xavi, has also expressed a desire to take his coaching badges in the near future.
