Godsday Orubebe’s profile has been updated on Wikipedia, after he attempted to disrupt 2015 general election result announcement on March 31.

Orubebe became a Supervisory Councilor, and later Chairman of Burutu LGA. In July 2007, President Umaru Yar’Aduaappointed him Minister of Special Duties. Later he became Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs when that ministry was created in December 2008. In January 2010 he said that the proposed 10% equity share policy on infrastructural development in the Niger Delta region would make vandalism and crisis a thing of the past. On the 31st of March 2015, he attempted to disrupt the proceedings of the 2015 presidential election collation, but was escorted from the building.
