A wolf escaped from a sanctuary in Berkshire, South East England on Thursday.
According to Mirror UK, the animal called Mai escaped after high winds overnight damaged part of its enclosure at the UK Wolf Conservation Trust in Beenham.
The alarm was raised at 8am when police received a 999 call from a dog walker who spotted the animal on the loose.
Armed police were sent to the scene and the wolf was later captured after officers tried to avoid the need to shoot it.
The animal is thought to have been captured in the Curridge area.
A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: “We have deployed an armed response unit to the scene and officers have sight of the wolf.
“
