World Cup playoff: Ghanaian actor vows to trek from Accra to Lagos if Nigeria wins

Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo, has vowed to trek  barefooted from his country’s capital, Accra,  to  Nigeria’s commercial center, Lagos, if the Super Eagles  beat the Black Stars in a world cup  playoff, on Friday.

Dumelo, who is now a politician, boasted that the Ghanaian national team will win the game in Kumasi.

Dumelo, who took to his Instagram page, wrote: “There’s no way Nigeria will win today’s match. If they do, I, John Setor Dumelo, will walk barefoot from Accra to Lagos tomorrow morning with my ginger on my head. Super Eagles my foot.”

The Super Eagles  will take on Black Stars at the Baba Yara Stadium in the the first leg of their World Cup playoff. 

The second leg of the match would  be played at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja, on Tuesday, March 29.

Kick-off for Friday’s match is 8.30pm Nigerian time.
