Yobe State governor, Ibrahim Gaidam, has said that none of the 94 students of Government Girls Science Technical College, Dapchi, allegedly abducted by suspected Boko Haram insurgents, has been rescued.
According to TheCable, the governor spoke on Thursday when he visited the community. The report said he told family members of the missing girls to keep praying for the girls’ return.
The insurgents raided the school on Monday and 94 schoolgirls went missing after that.
Gaidam’s confirmation debunks earlier reports that some of the girls were rescued by soldiers on Wednesday night
