House of Representatives hopeful and immediate past ALGON chairman in Oyo State, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye(MDII), has showered encomiums on the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on the occasion of his 70th birthday celebration.
In a statement made available to journalists by his media office, Abass-Aleshinloye, described Tinubu as a true statesman and courageous leader.
“His outstanding public life and contributions to the sustenance of the nation’s democracy is remarkable,” he said.
Aleshinloye praised the former APC National Leader for his constant habit of building bridges across all divides, irrespective of political affiliation, religion and ethnicity.
“The hallmark of a great leader is not measured in castles and materials, but in his ability to groom and lead successful disciples.
“Your life has been a testimony of human capital development in an unrelenting struggle for a better life. Even your political detractors secretly admire your courage, vibrancy, intelligence, ebullience, kind-heartedness, warmth and sagacity.
“I rejoice with our leader and the incoming president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by the grace of God on this glorious birthday celebration. I wish you many happy returns and many more useful and productive years,” Aleshinloye added.
