The Trump Organization has said it is ending its licensing deal with a prestigious New York hotel, The Trump SoHo hotel, amid reports that the property has struggled to attract business.
The move means the hotel will drop Trump’s name.
The Trump Organisation, a company owned by US President Donald Trump, said that it has signed a deal with the owners of the hotel and residential tower to end management of the property and the use of the Trump name.
The president’s company said it would have no comment beyond its news release announcing the move.
Other Trump-branded hotels and resorts are showing mixed results, some struggling, some booming.
