The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has extended the deadline for the exchange of old naira notes.
Te apex bank made the announcement in a statement on Sunday.
In the statement, CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, said President Muhammadu Buhari gave permission for the deadline to be extended to February 10.
He said so far, CBN has collected N1.9 trillion and left with 900billion to achieve effective implementation of policy.
