Lagos State Government has sealed up the popular Alaba Intrrnational Market at Ojo area of the state.
This is coming exactly a week after it reopened the Mile 12 market last Monday.
The Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, disclosed this on Monday on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
According to Wahab, the market was sealed up for poor waste disposal practices, failure to pay their waste bills and gross environmental sanitation offences.
“Alaba International Market, Ojo has been sealed up for poor waste disposal practices, failure to pay their waste bills, and gross environmental sanitation offences,” he wrote
