Ogun State Government has placed a N50 million bounty on the killers of Taiwo Oyekanmi, a Director of Finance in the Office of the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
The 51-year-old Oyekanmi was killed by gunmen on November 29, at Kuto flyover, Abeokuta, the state capital.
The deceased, alongside two others, were accosted by the gun-wielding hoodlums while returning to the Governor’s Office with money said to have been withdrawn from two commercial banks within Abeokuta metropolis.
The gunmen killed the Ifonyintedo-born chartered accountant and made away with the huge cash.
Commissioner of Police in the state, Abiodun Alamutu, said the group went to the bank without a police escort.
