A Nigerian-American, Oluwasheun Akorede, has been declared wanted for drug trafficking in the United States of America.
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) declared Akorede wanted via post on its official Twitter page.
DEA, which called Akorede “fugitive of the week,” first declared the suspect wanted for heroin trafficking, on June 16.
“DEAHQ #FugitiveFriday: DEADETROITDiv is looking for Oluwasheun Akorede; wanted for heroin Trafficking,” DEA tweeted, sharing Akorede’s photo and bio data.
An official statement was released on Tuesday, June 20 further informing the public on how to “anonymously report tips about fugitives and other criminal activity” to the agency.
The last known location of 69-year-old Akorede was Brooklyn, New York. He is 5’11 tall with black hair and brown eyes.
The suspect’s jurisdiction was stated as Eastern District of Michigan.
