With exactly a week to the end of the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, has announced a replacement for the Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Capt Rabiu Yadudu, whose tenure expired on Saturday.
Sirika replaced Yadudu with Kabir Yusuf Mohammed after the expiration of the tenure erstwhile FAAN boss on Saturday, May 20, 2023.
President Muhammadu Buhari appointed Yadudu as FAAN MD, on a single tenure of four years on May 20, 2019.
The newly appointed MD, Mohammed, was until his new appointment, the Regional General Manager, North Central of FAAN.
Mohammmed had earlier been appointed as the Chairman, Aviation Roadmap Implementation Committee in January 2022 by Sirika.
He has undertaken several International Civil Aviation Organisation(ICAO) and Airport Council International (ACI) Courses on Air Transportation System.
He is an alumnus of the International Visitors Leadership Programme of the United States Government.
