In his efforts to enhance the health and well being of residents in his community, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ilaji Hotel & Sports Resorts, Engr. Dotun Sanusi, has registered 300 individual’s into the Oyo State Health Insurance Scheme.
At the event, Sanusi, who is also the Jagun Olubadan of Ibadan land, highlighted the significance of accessible and affordable healthcare.
He referenced global examples such as the healthcare systems in the UK, USA, and the Arab world, urging well meaning people to prioritise health services.
Sanusi emphasised that health is a basic necessity and encouraged people to support similar causes.
The Jagun Olubadan explained that ensuring accessible and affordable healthcare for family, employees, and the wider community is vital, adding that people should not wait until they were severely ill to seek medical attention.
Sanusi advocated for proactive health measures.
Speaking, the Executive Secretary, Oyo State Health Insurance Agency (OYSHIA), Dr Sola Akande, who was represented by Mr. Omofisoye Wale Joseph, commended Sanusi for the initiative, stating that the enrollment process is part of the adoption model.
