Olubadan-designate, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, on Friday, made his first public appearance since the demise of late Oba Lekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade II, who joined his ancestors on March 14.
Otun Olubadan of Ibadan land, High Chief Rashidi Ladoja, who made the disclosure in an interview with Nigerian Tribune, said Oba Olakulehin met with members of the Olubadan-in-Coincil immediately he arrived on Ibadan.
Ladoja was quoted as saying: “Baba ti de (meaning Baba is around).”
The non-public appearance of Oba Olakulehin had elicited mixed delivered actions among Ibadan people, including the stakeholders.
Recall that the Olubadan-in-Council had said Oba Olakulehin’s nomination cannot be done in absentia.
According to the medium, Oba Olakulehin is currently at his private residence in Alalubosa GRA, Ibadan.
