Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has made his first set of appointments after he was sworn in as governor of the state.
In a statement by his Deputy Chief of Staff, Olusegun Omojuwa, the governor appointed Publisher of Akure-based Trace News Magazine, Ebenezer Adeniyan, as the Chief Press Secretary.
Adeniyan’s appointment follows the resignation of Richard Olatunde, who was Chief Press Secretary to late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
Other appointments announced are Smart Omodunbi, Special aAssistant on Political Affairs; Sunday Abire, Special Assistant on New Media; Miss Motunrayo Oyedele, Special Assistant on Photography and Dr. Temitayo Iperepolu, Special Assistant on Domestic Affairs and Government House.
Aiyedatiwa has also declared three days mourning starting from Thursday, December 28, 2023.
He said all flags were to fly at half mast.
