Coalition of pro-democracy groups under the aegis of Coalition for a Better Nigeria, will pay a visit to the family of the acclaimed winner of the June 12,1993 presidential election, Bashorun MKO Abiola.
According to a statement made available to newsmen by the group’s National Coordinator, Com, Awa Bamiji, the visit was to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the annulment of June 12, 1993 presidential election.
He said the visit to Abiola’s family will take place on Thursday, June 22, 2023 by 12pm. Awa added that there would be an event at MKO Abiola’s House, located at 45/46, MKO Abiola Crescent, Off Toyin Street, Ikeja, Lagos State same day.
“Special Prayers for the family and all June 12 victims are to be offered by the following close associates of Late Chief MKO Abiola, GCFR.

Awa further said that the Special Guests of Honour are members of the MKO Abiola family, while the Guests of Honour are the all notable June 12 victims.
