The Central Working Committee of South West Agenda (SWAGA) ’23, a group rooting for former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, to throw his hat into the ring for the presidency in 2023, has conluded arrangement to launch in Iwo Federal Constituency of Osun State.
A statement signed by the SWAGA ’23 coordinator in Osun State, Alhaja Ayo Omidiran, said the launch is part of the efforts to further sensitise the region and to ensure 12 million votes for Tinubu in the forthcoming election should he accept to contest.
According to Omidiran, who is also a member of the Central Working Committee, the programme for the unveiling of SWAGA ’23 in Iwo Federal Constituency will commence on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Community Grammar School ground, Bode Osi, Ola Oluwa Local Government by 10am.
The second leg of the programme will be at DC primary School ground, Araromi, Iwo, by 11:30am while the third and final event will hold at Methodist Primary School, Ile Ogbo, Ayedire Local Government by 1pm.
“The inauguration of SWAGA’23 executive for the constituency is expected to signal the beginning of its grassroots mobilisation for the actualization of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidency in 2023,” the statement added.
