President Bola Tinubu has reiterated his confidence in his Chief of Staff, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, following allegations that cabal has hijacked his administration.
Some loyalists of the president had allegedly raised alarm that the Chief Of Staff, Gbajabiamila, is leading a cabal in the administration and selling appointments in federal departments and agencies.
They demanded for the immediate sack of the Chief of Staff.
But addressing members of his cabinet during Monday’s Federal Executive Council meeting, Tinubu expressed confidence in Gbajabiamila.
The president said only God is perfect, adding that as a human, he will make mistakes.
“I have told everyone in this country that I can make mistakes; we hear them out and correct them. Perfection is that of God Almighty. I have absolute confidence on the integrity of my Chief of Staff. All campaign of calumny and insinuations should stop. The buck stops here; if I make mistakes, I’m ready to own up to it,” Tinubu said.
