Two suspected Yoruba nation agitators were on Saturday arrested by security personnel for their alleged role in the invasion of the Oyo State Government Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.
Some Yoruba nation agitators had on Saturday morning invaded and took over some parts the state secretariat.
An old man with grey air and a middle-aged man bearing Yoruba nation flags whose identities could not be confirmed were arrested by the police.
According to eyewitnesses, the suspects were armed with amulets and some charms while singing solidarity songs claiming they wanted Yoruba nation.
The security operatives did not allow reporters to interview them but the aged man was heard claiming he was the father of Yoruba nation.
The suspects have been taken to the State Police Command in Eleyele, Ibadan, for further questioning.
