Reports have it that Ahmed Salkida, one of the three people the Nigerian Army declared wanted for supposed knowledge of Boko Haram activities has been arrested in Abuja.
Salkida, the journalist known for his access to the top commanders of the terrorist sect, was picked up on arrival at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport aboard Emirates flight EK 785.
A passenger seated next to the journalist during the trip informed the media that Salkida was looking nervous during the flight.
Earlier, the Nigerian army declared a Nigerian journalist and two other persons Ahmed U. Bolori and Aisha Wakil wanted because of their alleged link with the terror group, Boko Haram.
After he was declared wanted last month, Salkida, who had been on self imposed exile of some sort in the Middle East, had said he would turn himself in once he is able to afford the flight ticket back home.
