Reports have it that Maryam Sanda, who was charged with the murder of her husband, Bilyamin Bello, in Abuja last November, given birth to a baby boy but no family member has confirmed it.
According to SaharaReporters, a small naming ceremony will hold on Tuesday, August 14, 2018.
Maryam, daughter of Maimuna Aliyu, former Executive Director of Aso Savings and Loans Limited, allegedly stabbed Bilyamin Bello in the chest, neck and genital area, over alleged infidelity.
She was nursing a six-months old daughter at the time of the incident and was reported to be pregnant. Due to the reported pregnancy, Joseph Daudu, her lawyer tried to secure her bail but Jutide Yusuf Halilu, a High Court in Jabi, Abuja, turned down the application and ordered that sthe accused be remanded in Suleja Prisons.
She later secured bail in March after the court received medical reports that confirmed her pregnancy.
Her late husband was the nephew of Bello Haliru, former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
