The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Prof. Charles Soludo, has taken an early lead in the Anambra State governorship election held on Saturday
The election which was marred by technical glitches, late arrival of electoral officials and materials, among other issues.
As the results trickle in, Soludo has taken a commanding lead in seven local governments announcement so far.
He has won Njikoka, Anambra East, Onitsha South, Anaocha, Awka South and Orumba South.
The APGA candidate also defeated Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to win Aguata Local Government. The three frontrunners in the Anambra State governorship election are from Aguata.
