A fuel subsidy fraud suspect, Rowaye Jubril has been sentenced to 10 years in prison by an Ikeja Division of the Lagos High Court.
Jubril and his company, Brila Energy Ltd. were found guilty of 13 count charges of fuel subsidy fraud.
Justice Lateefat Okunnu, delivering judgement on Thursday, also made an order of restitution for the company to refund N963.7 million to the Nigerian government.
They were fist arraigned by the EFCC in November 2012.
The conviction comes weeks after the judge convicted Walter Wagbatsoma, Adaoha Ugo-Ngadi, and their company, Ontario Oil and Gas, for fuel subsidy fraud.
