The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has temporarily suspended train operations along the Abuja-Kaduna route, following an attack by gunmen on Monday night.
NRC disclosed this via a post on its official Twitter handle, @Official_NRC, on Tuesday.
It stated that the suspension was due to unforeseen circumstances.
“Dear passengers, due to unforeseen circumstances, train operations along the Abuja-Kaduna route has been temporarily suspended. Further communication would be given in due course.”
Recall that terrorists bombed the Abuja-Kaduna rail tracks and attacked a train filled with passengers at Dutse, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, on Monday evening.
Many people were injured in the attack, while some were also abducted.
