Fifty-five patients undergoing treatment for coronavirus have been discharged in Lagos State.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu disclosed this in a statement on Saturday.
He said that the discharged patients comprised of 39 Nigerians and 16 foreign nationals.
Sanwo-Olu revealed that a total of 1,419 patients have been successfully treated in the state.
He said: “Today, 55 fully recovered #COVID19Lagos patients; 16 females & 39 males including 16 foreign nationals were discharged from our Isolation facilities to reunite with the society.
“The patients; 14 from Onikan, five from Gbagada, five from Mainland Hospital, Yaba, eight from Agidingbi, six from Lekki, four from Eti-Osa (LandMark), four from First Cardiology and nine from @LUTHofficial isolation Centres were discharged after testing negative to COVID-19.
“With this, the number of #COVID19 cases successfully managed & discharged in Lagos has risen to 1419.”
Data from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) showed that a total of 9,741 COVID-19 cases have been recorded in Lagos, out of which 126 patients have died.
