The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Ekiti governorship election held on Saturday, Kayode Fayemi, has been declared winner of the polls according to official results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Fayemi beat his PDP counterpart, Olusola Kolapo Eleka, in 12 out of the 16 local government areas in the state.
