A five-year-old girl died on Monday after she fell from a fourth floor window in Massachusett, Dailymail.com reports.
The girl was reportedly playing with friends in a Brookline, Massachusetts, apartment when she fell 35ft to the concrete below on the left side of the building.
According to police, a window screen was found next to the girl on the ground.
A passerby told officials that they had heard a noise and went to investigate, finding the girl and calling police.
John Gillis, who has lived in the building for the past 40 years, told the Brookline Patch that the windows were in the process of being replaced.
The yet-to-be-identified little girl, who lived in the building, was taken to Children’s Hospital in Boston with serious injuries on Monday afternoon. She however died n the hospital.
