The town hall meeting of Sen. Solomon Adeola representing Lagos West in the Senate was on Monday disrupted by hoodlums at the indoor sports pavilion of Digital Bridge Institute (DBI), Oshodi, Lagos.
The Senator was meeting with artisans, market women and physically challenged people within the district at the venue when the hoodlums invaded the place.
The meeting, which ended abruptly, also had in attendance members of Community Development Associations (CDAs) as well as leaders of Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa communities.
An eyewitness said the hoodlums disrupted the meeting because they couldn’t get money from the senator.
They reportedly shot into the air and had a clash with mobile policemen at the venue. Senator Adeola was whisked away by security agents.
