A female pilgrim from Lagos State died in the early hours of Sunday at the ongoing hajj in the Holy land.
The woman whose identity was not disclosed was part of the Lagos State contigent and has been in Saudi Arabia for the past 25 days taking part in hajj activities.
The death occurred barely two days to the completion of the hajj exercise.
Reports said the female pilgrim was on her way to the Jamrat (where stoning of the devil is taking place) when she slumped.
She died on the spot as efforts by the medical personnel to revive her proved abortive.
