Manchester City have announced the signing of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.
The club announced in a statement on their website that the 21-year-old goal sensation has been picked up for a bargain £51million, £13 million cheaper than the £64 million release clause that has been widely touted.
The Blues said that they struck a deal with the Bundesliga side, adding that Haaland will join them on July 1.
“Manchester City can confirm that we have reached an agreement in principle with Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of striker Erling Haaland to the club on 1st July 2022. The transfer remains subject to the club finalising terms with the player,” the club statement read.
