The nine Atiba royal families have sympathised with the family of late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, over the demise of their son, Prince AbdulFatai Adeyemi.
The royal families, in a statement signed on Friday by their spokesperson, Prince Sina Afolabi, described the deceased as a remarkable individual who will always be remembered for his good deeds, humanitarianism and unwavering devotion to Allah.
“We, the Atiba 9, comprising the nine children of Alaafin Atiba including Olawooyin and Adejumo, come together today to express our deepest condolences on the passing of the late Prince AbdulFatai Adeyemi. We were deeply saddened to hear of his untimely demise this morning, and our hearts go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
“His dedication to serving others and his commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those around him were truly inspiring. We are grateful for the time we had with him and the memories we shared.
“As members of the Atiba 9, we understand the pain and sorrow that comes with losing a loved one. We know that no words can fully ease the grief and emptiness that you are feeling right now. However, we want you to know that we stand with you in this time of mourning and offer our support and condolences.
“Prince AbdulFatai Adeyemi’s legacy will live on through the lives he touched and the love he shared. His kindness, generosity, and selflessness will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing him. We are grateful for the positive impact he had on our lives and the lives of many others.
