Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, is currently in a closed door meeting with members of the Olubadan-in-council.
It was gathered that Otun Olubadan of Ibadan, Senator Lekan Balogun, former Governor Rashidi Ladoja and other members of the council are present at the meeting.
The meeting commenced shortly after the Makinde attended the Armed Forces Rememberance Day event which held at the Rememberance Arcade, opposite Government House, Agodi, Ibadan.
The governor and members of the Olubadan-in-Council are expected to brief the press after the meeting.
A source close to the government said that the meeting was convened to resolve and address all issues bothering on the selection of the next Olubadan of Ibadan land.
It was learnt that if an agreement would be reached at the meeting, the governor may confirm the nomination of Balogun as the next Olubadan.
