Embattled deputy governor of On do State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has publicly apologised to his principal, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN).
Aiyedatiwa, who addressed a world press conference in Akure, the One State capital one Thursday, called for an end to what he termed needless crisis in the state.
He said he was saddened by the embarrassment and discomfort the barrage of negative news the crisis has brought to the state in the last few months.
The deputy governor noted that there were no issues between him and Akeredolu, adding that political actors capitalised on his boss’ absence to create crisis for their selfish interest.
He said he has met with Akeredolu twice since he returned to the country from his medical leave, but he would not discuss the details of their conversations.
