Popular fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde Anifowose Marshal, known as K1 De Ultimate, has completed a seven-day installation rites as popular Ijebu chief.
The installation was in honour of the new and prestigious chieftaincy title recently bestowed upon him in his hometown of Ijebu-Ode.
The title, “Olori Omo Oba Akile Ijebu,” was given to KWAM 1 by the Awujale of Ijebu land, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, Ogbagba Agbotewole II.
The Fuji musician was seen dressed in white regalia, adorned with leopard skin, exiting his Ojushagbola family house with his wife, Emmanuella Ropo.
The title, previously held by the late Otunba Subomi Balogun, symbolised the strength and dignity of the Ijebu people.
KWAM 1’s attainment of the prestigious title reflected his remarkable contributions to the enhancement of Ijebu land’s reputation and, by extension, the entire Yoruba land.
Prior to this latest honour, he had already earned the title of Mayegun of Yoruba land, which further solidified his status as a respected figure in the Yoruba community.
