British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, and wife, Carrie Symonds, have welcomed a baby girl.
Carrie gave birth to the baby on Thursday at a London hospital.
A spokeswoman for the couple said, “both mother and daughter are doing very well.”
“The couple would like to thank the brilliant NHS (National Health Service) maternity team for all their care and brilliant support,” she added.
The couple, who married in May 2021, also have a son, Wilfred, who was born in April 2020.
Wilfred’s birth came just weeks after Johnson was discharged from intensive care, following treatment for coronavirus.
