The Newburgh Police Department has charged two men in connection with a shooting at a Halloween party that left two New York women dead and five other people with gunshot wounds on Saturday night.
Rainier Hamilton, 21, and Tyson Oliveira, 20, were charged with tampering with physical evidence. Hamilton is also charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
The suspects were arrested on Sunday morning after an early shooting at a costume party held in an apartment building in Newburgh, located about 60 miles north of New York City.

Both men were in custody pending their arraignment on Monday in city court. It couldn’t be determined if they have lawyers.
