Actor Moses Armstrong has returned to movie location, defying the suspension placed on him by the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl.
The Abuja-based actor was suspended by AGN, following his arrest in June.
According to AGN, Armstrong will remain suspended pending when the police conclude investigation on the matter.
Disregarding the guild’s directive, Armstrong took to social media to share photos of himself at a movie location.
The actor noted that he is at the location of a movie, titled ‘A Walk Away.’ It also features fellow actor from Always Ibom State, Ime Bishop, aka Okon Lagos.
“My First Movie Set After My Incarceration. #BackStrongerBetterAndLouder…. #AWalkAway… The Movie. Director… John Henry Offixial.Producer…. #ImaobongUdoh,” he wrote
Armstrong, who is the Special Assistant on Agriculture to Akwa Ibom State Governor, was arrested on June 13.
He was charged with rape, intimidation, conspiracy and supplying of drugs or instruments to procure abortion.
The actor was granted bail in the sum of N5 million by Judge Ntong Ntong on August 11.
He was released last week after perfecting his bail conditions.
