Nollywood actress and producer, Omoni Oboli took to social media this morning to vent her anger at the incessant attacks by Fulani herdsmen.
Her outburst follows news of another attack in Benue which reportedly claimed the lives of 81 people.
Writing on her Twitter handle this morning, “numb and LIVID” Oboli expressed despair, calling on Jesus to fix it as “men” (government) seems to have no solution.
She tweeted:
So we are just going to pretend like these Fulani herdsmen attacks are not going on? Why have we become hostile to ourselves? Fix it Jesus
Another Fulani herdsmen attack leaves at least 81 people dead. Fellow Nigerians, we are at war. We just don’t know it yet! #Rip to the dead
I shudder to think that we are becoming immune to these senseless killings. In the beginning, I used to cry my eyes out, now I’m just numb!
I’m numb and LIVID! Why do my brothers and sisters have to keep dying and no one seems to care? Our prayers are with the grieving families
Is the government going to wait till this Fulani herdsmen business becomes a full blown war before doing something about it? Arrrrrrghhhh
