President Muhammadu Buhari and Senate President, Bukola Saraki, had a closed door meeting at the Aso Rock Villa on Friday.
Saraki arrived the Villa around 12, noon, Friday.
Reason for the meeting is still sketchy but speculators are of the view that it would not be unconnected with issues of having a better relationship between the legislature and the executive arms of the government.
Recall that Saraki had made a number of visits to the villa months back where he had always gone into a closed-door meeting with Mr. President.
Recall also that before the Christmas break, Saraki had told newsmen that Nigeria should expect a better relationship between the two arms.
As to today’s visit, details are yet to trickle in as the Senate President was said to have gone straight into the meeting without granting audience with newsmen.
Details later…
