The Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), Jagun Olubadan, Engr. Dotun Sanusi; Mogajis in Ibadan land, Baales as well as Babaloja and Iyaloja General of Oyo State Alh Yekini Abass and Alhaja Sarata Konibaje respectively have fecilitated with the deputy governor of Oyo State, Barr. Bayo Lawal, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.
A statement jointly signed by President, Association of Ibadan Mogajis, Mogaji Asimiyu Ariori, and Coordinator, Ibadan Compound Peace Initiative (ICPI), Mogaji Nurudeen Akinade, described the deputy governor as one of the foremost, great and patriotic Oke Ogun person, who is passionate about the progress, growth and development of Oyo State.
According to the statement, the deputy governor’s love for Ibadan land and the Oyo State at large was what earned him Most Patriotic Friend of Ibadan (MPFI), an award CCII intend to confer on him at its fordthcoming Ibadan week.
“MPFI award will be one of the most precious gift the deputy governor will receive for his birthday.
They noted that Ibadan people joins family, friends, associates, and the people of Oyo State to celebrate the deputy governor, describing him as an astute technocrat, administrator and politician of note.
It also lauded Lawal’s contributions to governance and development of Oyo at while holding different positions.
“We heartily felicitate with the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Bar. Adebayo Lawal, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.
“It is our prayer that Allah will grant you long life, increase you in sound health and wisdom to serve the people of Oyo State, Nigeria, and humanity at large. Happy birthday sir!” the statement added.
