Senate President Bukola Saraki and former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godsday Orubebe, are both at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) at present.
The Cable reports that Orubebe arrived a few minutes before the senate president, who sauntered into the courtroom at 10:03am.
Both personalities are facing charges at the CCT for alleged false declaration of assets.
While Saraki is facing a 13-count charge of false declaration of assets, Orubebe is facing a one-count charge of the same alleged offence.
Saraki was pictured having a chat with Orubebe, who sat in front of him.
It is uncertain which of the trials will commence first. And Danladi Umar, chairman of the CCT, is yet to sit as of the time of filing this report.
Meanwhile, at least four senators accompanied the senate president to the CCT, The Cable reports
