Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has called on members of the Ahmed Makarfi faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to dump the party and for a new party.
Fani-Kayode was reacting to Friday’s ruling of the appeal court which recognised Ali Modu Sheriff as the party’s National Chairman.
Fani-Kayode wrote on his Facebook page: “The decision by the Court of Appeal in Port Harcourt today to recognise Senator Ali Modu Sheriff as the National Chairman of the PDP is nothing but a victory for the ruling APC and President Muhammadu Buhari.
“The courts decision is as shameful as it is absurd. It is time for us to gut the PDP, leave its carcass for the treacherous and destructive mole called Ali Modu Sheriff and form a new megaparty”.
